Born and raised in the Bay Area, I've spent the last seven years building a body of work across California — landscapes, cities, the occasional animal that wandered into the frame. Three of those years were behind a camera professionally; the four before were learning what kind of photographer I wanted to be.
My commercial practice is based at mazinomron.com — photography, videography, and creative direction for brands. The print shop is something separate: the photographs that wouldn't leave me alone, finally given a place to live.
Right now I'm headed to Sitka, Alaska — taking the ferry up from Bellingham through the Inside Passage, then a float plane out into the wilderness. The next collection (Vol. II) is being made out there, off-grid, on the water and in the trees.
